To manually install the priint:comet Illustrator plugins, follow these steps:

The folder "Program Files" may be named differently, depending on your system language, e.g. "Programme" in german

The folder "Plug-Ins" inside your Illustrator folder may be named differently, depending on your system language, e.g. "Zusatzmodule" in german

• As of version 4.1.6 Rxxx CEP extensions are no longer needed and will cause issues if they remain installed!
• Delete any folders inside "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions" which contain the string "com.adobe.illustrator.comet", if any exist
• Delete any "Werk II..." folders and/or existing priint:comet Illustrator plugin inside your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g."C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Plug-ins", if any exist
• Extract the plugin zip, e.g. "Comet 4.1.6 R24777 (Windows) Illustrator CC 2018.zip" to your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Plug-ins"
• Copy your license file to your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Plug-ins" or directly into the plugin version folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Plug-ins\Werk II R24777"

• Delete any "Werk II..." folders and/or existing priint:comet Illustrator plugin inside your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g."Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC 2019\Plug-ins", if any exist
• Extract the plugin zip, e.g. "Comet 4.1.6 R26400 (Mac) Illustrator CC 2019.zip" to your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g. "Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC 2019\Plug-ins"
• Copy your license file to your Illustrator plugin folder, e.g. "Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC 2019/Plug-ins" or directly into the plugin version folder, e.g. "Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC 2019/Plug-ins/Werk II R26400"
