Map a string to a number.
Map a string to a number. The function delivers the same IDs for strings as are calculated with Import of XML files in the dummy nodes.
To ascertain this number the function hashpjw developed by P.J. Weinberg will be used, but which, of course, cannot solve the (insolveable) problem of the countability of strings and which cannot produce a one-to-one arrangement of strings to numbers, but which still offers a ulitisable approximation.
To convert number strings into numbers use the function val.
